YES! You can register in-person the morning of the event. Doors open at 6:30 am Thanksgiving Day if you want to register in person. Come on down!
You can register online through the event as well.
Do all participants get a t-shirt?
Only the walkers/runners that participate in the Grateful Gobbler Walk in person starting at Coolidge Park receive t-shirts. Sleepwalkers do not receive t-shirts. Volunteers also receive a t-shirt.
Do the walker/runner shirts have long sleeves or short sleeves?
The participant shirts are long sleeved.
When can walkers/runners pick up their t-shirts?
For those who chose to pick up their shirts in person, here are the three options for t-shirt pickup prior to the event.

Can I participate without registering?
All walkers, except children 5 and under who do not want a t-shirt, must register and wear their walker/runners’ number, also called a runners’ bib, to participate.
How much does it cost to participate?
Registration is $30 for individuals 13+ and $15 for kids 12 and under. If your preferred T-shirt size is listed on the website, it is available and can be reserved. We’ve also included the quantity ordered for each size, so you’ll know when a size is sold out.
Sleep walkers and virtual walkers are $20 each. (No t-shirt, no bib, sleep in on Thanksgiving morning)
Is my registration fee tax deductible?
Yes. Your registration fee is 100% tax deductible. The Grateful Gobbler Walk has a very generous anonymous donor that is covering all event expenses so 100% of the money raised will go to the new Shelter for Homeless Families.
Is there a deadline to register?
Online registration will be available through the end of the event. The team contest will end the day before Thanksgiving at 11:59 pm.
I haven’t registered yet. Will walk-up registration be available the morning of the event?
Yes. Walk-up registration will be available Thanksgiving morning starting at 6:30 am. Walk-up registration will also be available the day before Thanksgiving from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm at Coolidge Park in the pavilion. Online registration will be open until after the event.
