The participant shirts are long sleeved.
Only the walkers/runners that participate in the Grateful Gobbler Walk in person starting at Coolidge Park receive t-shirts. Virtual Walkers and Sleepwalkers do not receive t-shirts. Volunteers also receive a t-shirt.
The Grateful Gobbler Walk is a 5K.
Restrooms are available within Coolidge Park. (Pets are not allowed in the park.)
Yes, runners will start at 8:00 am. Walkers start at 8:05 am.
Meet up with the committee member that recruited you and they will sign it or you can get it signed at the volunteer check in station inside the pavilion at Coolidge Park.
Volunteer check-in will be in the pavilion at Coolidge Park. You are also welcome to pick up your volunteer packet the day before the event from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm at Coolidge Park.

The 19th Annual Grateful Gobbler Walk will take place once again on Thanksgiving morning. Walkers will gather at Coolidge Park for festivities before the 8:00 a.m. start. 100% of the proceeds of the walk will benefit the new Maclellan Shelter for Families located on site at the Community Kitchen on 11th Street in Chattanooga. The Shelter for Homeless Families features 13 units with 68 beds for families experiencing homelessness and provides a stable environment for families to remain together as they search for permanent housing solutions.
